Rose problem.

New Rambling rose flower buds have shrivelled and gone dry crispy. Rest of plant looks healthy.

    A picture would be useful but it might just be frost damage to tender new shoots.

    @Carolebeesley10 - wind scorch is a good contender at this time of the year. Young growth on many plants including roses can succumb to this  - Are you watering enough too - we've had virtually no rain since March!

    A similar thing has happened to mine, currently trying to figure out the cause. Any of the stems started going black?

    No only buds. It’s an early flowering one. This happened last year too. I’m inclined to think now that it was frost damage. Next year will try covering with fleece until buds have fully matured. It’s so disappointing isn’t it?  Incidentally some of buds on honeysuckle are the same which is early too.
