Runners & peas

Limited space can i grow grow runner beans and pease together .
 Idea is beans across back with peas along each side of bean row with  rows set equal distance apart  beans & Peas forming E shape. Nowhere else to put pease.

Robert -  I grow 24 runner bean plants in a one square metre/yard space and it produces enough for the two of us.  If that allows you enough remaining space for perhaps a double row of peas, it may solve your space problem?  I use plastic covered 'Boundary Fencing' for peas to grow up.
