crocosmia

I dug up a large clump of crocosmia the other day, with the intention of throwing it away. But I have since decided to replant a few of them, but the problem is the leaves have all dried and shrivelled up as they were left to lie around for 3-4 days. I've since soaked the bulbs in water trying to revive them. Will they come again this year if they are replanted, or have they had it. They are the shortish, burnt orange variety probably Emily McKenzie.

Crocosmia are pretty tough cookies, they will revive I’m sure. Emily Mac is my favourite, gorgeous flowers and much less of a thug than some of the others.
