Hi again everyone.

Does anyone know what these are? The second one I see a lot, so is probably super easy. The first one is in flower in one of my neighbour's front gardens and looks nice.

2nd one looks like a type of Garrya.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
