Buddleia cutting

Last year we got a cutting from a friends Buddleia,because we wanted a white one. we had it in a pot for about 3 months last Autumn, and then planted out about October, the main stem has looked dead but not rotten, and I have just noticed at least half a dozen shoots some six inches away from where the main shoot was planted, no sure yet if it is Budd shoots, but is it possible for a rooted cutting, which died back in winter, to come back with several shoots.Thank you.

Have taken some photos but to big in mb's to fit on here will have to try and reduce,thta will be a challenge lol

Anyone know what this wild/weed flower is,has a very long tap root and the leaves look very much like a Strawberry

I think I have put the above photos in my Buddleia post,the Buddleia was sorted, iy had several shoots,these are obviously some sort of weed.
