Old TV Programme

Can anyone help? I am trying to find an old programme - I think it is from the 90s and I have a feeling in was on Channel 4. It featured  a man who moved from London to a cottage in Wales that was owned by some sisters. It was similar to River Cottage, and focused on self sufficiency. The man always seemed to wear a purple shirt. Any ideas?

    There was a series called Croeso I Gymru (Welcome to Wales) that followed families moving from England to Wales, and at least one family moved to a farmhouse. Don't know if that's what you're thinking of and can't remember who the presenter was, sorry.
