Seeking a bit of privacy

Hello everyone.  I'm after ideas to help me make my garden a little more private please.  I live in a rented property, so don't want to spend a fortune.  The boundary wall is 4 ft high.  So far I've had suggestions for trellis to take the height to 6 ft, bamboo in pots, or possibly using a freestanding structure to screen the patio.  It isn't a busy road, but there are people coming and going.  Please see photos attached and I would welcome any ideas.     I agree with the suggestions of trellis, or
    a pergola to screen the patio ... the second is my favourite.

    Very many thanks for your reply.  I like the idea of some kind of pergola too - and of course could take it with me should I move.
