Wonky hibiscus.

Hi all,
I'm new to this so please bare with me. Having removed some large trees adjacent to this hibiscus 4 years ago, it has now got to the time when I need to do something about the lack of growth on the right hand side.
I am hoping someone might be able to advise me on how much, where and when to prune it, to promote more growth on the right hand side.
I appreciate all help and advice.
