Morning all. I have a nice healthy ā€œsomethingā€ just can’t for the life of me decide what! Any ideas?

Anything healthy looking stranger is usually a weedšŸ˜‰
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • If I go by that I’ll probably pull everything healthy up and just leave the struggling ones🤣
  • Is that common sow thistle?Ā https://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/weeds/smooth-sow-thistle

Just pulled around fifty of those out, some of which had flowered yellow.

Doesn’t look like a sow thistle to me. šŸ¤” @nutcutlet are you about? What do you think?

    Absolutely.

If it’s booming, it *can’t* have been something I planted: kill it quick.

It looks like a mustard or rape to me.
  • Hmm... I’ve decided not to pull it yet. I’m not re planting that particular planter for another couple of weeks so no rush. The joy of planting in tubs is whatever it is it can’t go too deep to get it all out if necessary.

Agree with Skandi - seeds of those two are often included in birdseed mixes.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Now the bird food thing would make sense as one of my feeders was close to this.
