    Not right for Rosa rugosa...which has very marked veins.

    Can I please ask what you mean by the 'marked veins' as they look identical to me except your photo has thorns on the stem where mine doesn't. Many thanks.

    Edit: Now I also see yours has an extra pair of leaves.

    Sorry ..maybe I should have said prominent veins.
    The leaves of Rosa rugosa look rugged.
