Hi I have winter jasmine in a pot. It was a present. Did very well but what do I do with it now. Cut it back. Leave it. Or plant into ground. Don't want to loose it as it was from a special person
I live in southern Virginia, and I don't know how our climates compare. We get some frost and a little snow here, and our summers are long and hot and humid. Another gardener gave me a small winter jasmine fifteen years ago, and I planted it in a spot with sun, part shade. It has thrived. It blooms here in February. It has gracefully arching branches, and every spot where those branches rest on the ground, they root a new plant (much like forsythia). They are valued by some bonsai gardeners.
