    I agree ... it looks like a Vinca... leaves and growth looks right from what I can see, number of petals and colour looks right ... but yes the petals are narrower and a bit darker  than the ones I know ... I wonder if anyone knows of a variety with flowers like those ... it’s very pretty ...

    Edited to add ... are the leaves paired or alternate? Vinca has paired leaves.

    agree with your comments dove can't be sure on leaves, pic sent to me from daughter-in-law on phone, from what she said it seemed to have spread everywhere like vinca but  doesn't look like any know, hope someone can nail it, I have suggested she dig it all out,

    The photo needs to be taken a bit further away to work out the scale. I suspect there are two plants there. On the top right section, there are different leaves there. Flowers reminds me of a type of Isotoma.

    thanks for help folks vinca, it is s surfer hit the nail on the head with Vinca major var oxyloba .
     Crissy the reason she wants it out is it has spread everywhere,.
