Stop everything growing

Hi,
I'm having some decking put in my garden, where it will be highered off the ground as it will go over the shed roof.
I would expect it to be around 3/4ft above the ground.

My problem is stopping everything underneath growing, what's the best solution?

Many thanks

If they're being completely shaded, it will help to stunt growth.
However, the best solution is to cover with landscape fabric or plastic or similar, and add a thick layer of gravel.

    Hello @bobssy,

You could use old carpet if you have it .... carpet shops / council refuse sites might have some (once we cal all get out again that is )
