Skimmia disease?

Our very established Skimmia started showing signs of disease last year. We pruned it hard but the same issue is showing this spring. Individual branches are going brown and shrivelled whilst other branches of the shrub look healthy and there are flowers. I can see not sign of insect damage. At the moment, probably 5% of the shrub is impacted. Photos attached.
