Lawn care

Hi, I have overseeded my lawn as it was very patchy. Seeds have germinated well and I am going to fertilise the whole lawn in 6 weeks. However, I have read that the fertilser needs to be specific and not just a normal fertilser. What fertiliser would you recomend for nwwly established seedlings? Any links to websites where I can buy the fertilser would be great.

Thanks

I'd go easy with fertiliser on a newly seeded lawn. You want the roots to develop and find their way to nutrients in the soil. If you throw feed at the lawn, the roots stay shallower.
  • Great thanks. When do you recommend to fertilize the lawn then? Thanks again
