Uninvited hostas?

Do hostas self-seed?  Some little plants have appeared in my soft fruit border, they look a lot like tiny hostas.  The people the other side of the fence grow hostas, so I'm wondering if they could have got over, under or through the fence.  (The hostas, that is, not the neighbours.)

Without a photo, I'm thinking docks or arum . Both tend to seed around a lot.

Thanks everyone, I'll keep an eye on them and see what develops.

Excitement over.  They're just plantains.  Already have lots in the front garden, but this is the first time they've appeared in the back.
