ID and help! (New to gardening)

Hello, we moved into our house just over 3 and a half years ago, up until corona we were going to sell and move to a town we love but have since decided to stay here and spend money on our garden and make it nice! 
We have this hedge, and we have no idea what it is, it looks like it’s dying in places and there is an odd vine climbing on some of it! We want to know how to save it if at all possible or if we can’t we will have to get something new in its place! So any advice would be gratefully received!

Hard to see what the heck they are or how many different plants are there.
Pic 2 looks like a shrubby Lonicera..honeysuckle.
If you add a clear close up to show the leaves I may be able to id accurately.
