I've had a Photinia 'Red Robin' for about 20 years.It has a lovely array of fresh new red leaves every year, but has only had the 'smokey' flowers once about 5 years ago. Or am I getting mixed up with this and my Cotinus ' Royal Purple'? Which also doesnt have wonderful flowers?What might I do to improve them both?

I mulch with our local councils compost most years other years do chicken manure pellets.
