Areca Palm Browning and Dying

The tips of the larger fronds are browning and the lower fronds are drying out completely and dying.
I water the plant every couple of weeks when the top couple of inches of soil are dry and have a drip tray which I empty any excess from.
I live in the U.K. so it's not particularly humid or warm at the moment.
Any ideas? Thanks!
