Verbena

My verbena seems to have been damaged by frost - brown leaves/stems. If I cut back will it regrow? Thanks

    I assume you mean Verbena Bonariensis ? I cut mine back to the lowest buds anyway 
  • I thought growth was from the base so you cut right down in the spring?

    You can cut them back to a pair of decent leaf joints, anywhere on the plant.
    New growth sprouts all along the main stem. The higher you cut, the taller the eventual plant will be, so it depends on location.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
