Nature is a great healer

In these uncertain times at the moment, for those of us that have gardens they are certainly our saviours. And more so now then ever before. I have been very busy planting seeds, and I am also for the first time attempting to grow my own vegetables. Mangtout, garden peas, carrots and beetroot. To hear the birds singing so sweetly, beautiful butterflies fluttering about, bees buzzing and looking at the beautiful blue skies above, you cannot comprehend what it happening around us. So I took a break from planting my seeds to add some pictures of my bulbs that have come up. It certainly has put a smile back on my face, and is keeping me going. Keep strong everyone, keep safe, keep gardening and God bless. xx

Beautiful thoughts and pictures. I've always liked gardening, this year seems so different and necessary. I have a whole new appreciation for how lucky I am to have a garden. Thoughts to all at these difficult times.

    Hi

    Lovely pictures.

My garden has been my saviour too and I appreciate having a garden so much. Whilst doing garden jobs I have been able to focus on something other than the current situation. When I feel that the house is too much or had a very stressful time at work, a sit down with a cup of tea for 10 minutes or so is the perfect tonic.
