Plant ID please.

Several of these have appeared in my garden. Can anyone tell me what they could be? The first photo is one which is a couple of years old, the second has appeared this year. Thank you

    I'd say salix caprea, goat willow , bit of a thug in the average garden. Beware,

    Agree, I have to pull these up regularly from my blueberry pots, where they look just like a new blueberry shoot until you look more closely.  The fluffy seeds are blown everywhere by the wind.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Its good to finally know what it is. Thank you. :)
    I think I will be vigilant and remove any that put in an appearance in the flower beds but keep one in a pot for as long as it will tolerate it. Looks like its great for butterflies.
