Hi, my daughter gave everyone some seeds at her baby shower for us to grow with the baby. She cant remember what the seeds where and I have now got flowers on it but not sure if it is even an indoor or outdoor plant. Any ideas please  :)

It’s an outdoor plant, pansies.  If you cut that long bit off it will grow more flowers from the pot.
gradually harden it off, that means putting it out all day, bringing in at night for about a week then you can plant it in your garden. If you keep picking the flowers of as they die, it will bloom all summer for you.

You could put the long bit in another pot of compost, you’ll have two plants for the price of one then. 🙂

Thanks for the info, I will do that. Will it only live the one year or keep coming up every year.

I cut mine back in the autumn they’re all shooting out again now, but some people treat them as an annual and throw them away, you can let some flowers go to seed for next year.
