Shrub ID please

    It's a willow of some kind -possibly goat willow.
    Is it planted in your garden, or has it just appeared?
    It's the time of year that we often see goat willows springing up - and they aren't very desirable garden plants.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Might very well be thank you very much, I shall wait and see if leaves match when they come out, can’t remember at this moment what they are like.
  • It’s been only in leaf for two years! This is the first year to have a flower.

    @yorkshirerose has got a good ID too. It does look like that  :)

    If you wait a week or two @flopsy_fudge, and post a pic of the whole shrub, that will help too  :)

    Would like to see more pics as leaves open.
    Not sure flowers fit with Fothergilla.
