ID please

Could you please identify these 2 plants they look similar but different leaves and are next to each other but not sure if they are the same or different plants. Also have a very spikey plant in same area which I am not sure what it is

    1 and 3 look like pieris and 2 looks like a mahonia.  No expert thought, someone will probably be able to tell you the varieties.

    You have a variegated Pieris (top left) and a plain green one (bottom). The plain one could be a branch from the variegated one that has reverted. Top right I think is Mahonia.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
