Bamboo or Knotweed

Hi all,
i haven't done anything with a little pond that the previous owners put in. It is a rigid plastic pond and has a rigorous plant growing in it that I’m 99% sure is bamboo but just what your opinions that it’s not the dreaded Japanese Knotweed. Although it is vigorous it hasnt escaped the pond area.
