Identification of plant please and support

Wish to know if this is a rhododendron? 

I have just moved it from the front garden to the back garden.  Do I need to do anything specific to attempt to keep it alive?

Yes it is. It likes acid soil. Give it a good watering with rainwater to help it settle in.
