Prune roses now?

Hi, just wanted to check if it's alright to prune roses now as they're really starting to take off. Nights are going to be frosty in the coming week so just wondering. Thanks!

    Yes ... do it now ... did mine a couple of weeks ago.  :)

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
