Do clematis count as essential supplies?

Went to Morrisons earlier to find they've opened the "garden centre". They've got the little climber slips in again, including a good selection of clematis, so I obviously had to "panic-buy" a couple even though they've gone up to £1.80!

I would think if you're there anyway for your essential food shopping, and they're on sale then you can buy them. If they get left on the shelf (or even if Morrisons take them off sale or cancel the order from their supplier at short notice) they'll go to waste. No special journeys just to buy plants though.

  • I wouldn't dream of it. Although... they don't want me to go out and have minimal contact with people this week, but next week, when I'm not on holiday, I'll be coming into contact with hundreds of folks at the supermarket I work in!
