    Not a good plant for a postage stamp garden.  If she prunes it back hard it will just grow back.  Enjoy the flowers and then dig up and plant something more suitable is what I would advise.

    It's a monster,apparently @Obelixx. Still, she's working from home so plenty of time to get rid.
