I’ve just been doing some weeding in the borders around my house. I’m one of those people who will dig when and where you say but know very little about plants. I apologise for my ignorance but can someone tell me if this is a plant or a weed before I get rid of it please? It’s spread out over the ground with green leaves and what looks like purple flowers developing. It also has very thin wiry stems forming a lattice over the ground. A bit like ivy I guess.
That was my thought too @Obelixx. It can be a nuisance, and can spread quite rapidly @Edward.francis, but it's easy enough to pull out if it gets a bit rampant. Not very deep rooted
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
