No idea what you are talking about. Could you be more specific, please?

"which" is a consumer research organisation who regularly survey products.

Thanks for the info, @Hostafan1 it was not at all clear from the OP's message. And what's that to do with compost anyway? And what is MPC?

Compost/terreau is one of the things they test.  MPC is multi purpose compost.  Which? is like Test Achat.

These are the 2020 trial results showing the top five composts in each category

    For sowing seed

    Clover Multipurpose 96%

    Thompson and Morgan Incredicompost 92%

Bathgate Champions Blend All Purpose 92%

    Humax Original 87%

    Verve MPC 74%

    Lidl - not reviewed

    For growing on

    Melcourt SylvaGrow MPC 86%

    Wilko sowing and cutting 74%

    Clover MPC 74%

Bord na Mona Growise Pro5 All Purpose 73%

    Aldi MPC 72%

    Lidl - not reviewed

    For containers

Wyevale MPC with John Innes 74%

Bord na Mona Growise Pro5 All Purpose 72%

    Wyevale MPC 72%

    Thompson and Morgan Incredicompost 67%

    Lidl MPC 67%

Bord na Mona which does well in two tests only scored 56% in seed sowing.

Melcourt SylvaGrow came top of the group for growing on but Sylvacourt with added John Innes was bottom in that category with 46%

Clover MPC is probably the best compost overall but faired poorly in the containers/potatoes category. It is the compost I am using this season but with Lidl MPC for my potato containers.
