Can I divide/move Iris foetidissima?

Got an Iris foetidissima at the bottom of the garden, been there since I moved to the house and it's now about 5ft across and taking up a bit too much space where it is. 

Is it possible to move it? Will it survive? And can it be divided easily? 

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

It's a bit of a thug and will transplant easily. Dig up and split into separate pieces and replant.

Thanks for that, all done. 

Appreciate it's not the prettiest of plants, but it's filled quite a few spaces now and I'm not one to throw things away!
