What is eating my euonymus?
any ideas what this pest might be? I have had this problem for a couple of seasons. If I can identify the culprit I would prefer to use a targeted biological control rather than a generic bug killer. The hedge is otherwise healthy. Thanks

A healthy plant will shrug it off though, so it doesn't usually cause a lot of damage, other than aesthetically.
Worth keeping a look out for them affecting anything more susceptible though. The grubs/larvae do more harm than the adults [which is the damage you have there] but a heavy infestation can be a real nuisance.
The grubs eat through roots. Heucheras are particularly susceptible.
