What is this plant?

Last year I planted several seeds in pots, but I can't remember what this is. It's really hardy as it was badly neglected but it just won't quit. I put it in the ground last week. It grew that single flower stem a few months ago.

Thank you all. I think we have a winner. This plant has interesting leaves and I have now found a photo of a Gazania which shows very similar leaves
