Aloe vera potting compost

I have just repotted my aloe Vera after it flowered for the third year in a row. I now have 12 decent sized plants out of one small pot. My problem is I thought I’d bought cactus potting compost and only realised when I was tidying up the it was citrus compost. Will this kill my aloes??

Westland Citrus compost contains an ingredient to retain moisture, but most succulents do not like to be moist for a long time, so I would repot it into something more suitable.
