Please ID these two plants....

I'm interested in the the large rosette in the first pic, its growing in a wild/weedy patch that I was intending to leave alone. There are also lots of whatever the second plant is growing around the garden too so would like to know what it is 🙂

    The first one looks like a foxglove, sorry, I'm not sure about the second one.

    I agree the first one looks like a foxglove and think the second one might be a type of lily or agapanthus but not sure when it is just leaves visible at the moment.

    Second one could be Hemerocallis
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    I think hemerocallis too.  aka Day Lily.

    I'd agree with both of those IDs.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Day lily for me too! They started to show up in my garden about a month ago.
