Weeds

I was going to use my empty Round Up pump action sprayer to fill with boiling water. I would need to pump it to get the pressure.... wondering if it's safe in the container..... has anyone else done it ? Can I over pressurised with it being boiling water? I want to use boiling water on my weeds instead of chemicals.

The bottle is not designed to hold boiling water and would likely distort and you may get burned.
Spraying weeds with boiling water will have no effect whatsoever.
The fine droplets will cool as soon as they leave the pump - you'll just be watering weeds
I'd suggest a more traditional approach

I think they are more popular abroad. Yes similar to the heat gun, like a wallpaper stripper. I have a massive space to keep on top of, working full time and young family, hence time saving. I love my garden but last year I couldn't keep on top of it. This year I have started using boiling water which works a treat. Takes a while though, boiling kettle over and over!
Weeds are opportunists. reduce the amount of free soil in which they can germinate and you'll have fewer weeds. Go through you garden, meter by metre, hoeing and lifting weeds and then plant immediately with good ground cover perennials.

People have been managing gardens and allotments for years without carrying boiling water around. Please reconsider ... that’s dangerous.
