Rose cutting took -now what?

When I was pruning my roses last year,I poked a bit in the ground. It's sprouting leaves. Do I need to do anything. It'll be ok space wise if it stays where it is but should I put it in a pot or something?
Running true to form, I didn't label it but the stem is quite smooth and green so I suppose it's Arthur Bell.
In London. Keen but lazy.

    I would just leave it until autumn then lift it then, and place in final position... at this stage if you dig it up it could die... if it has roots they may not take to transplanting at this stage...

    If you want it to grow where it is, leave it.   If not, carefully move it, along with its root ball, into a pot with good loam-based compost and nurture it or else transfer it to a nursery bed where it can grow on till next autumn before planting in its final position.
