Probably a longshot but I just wondered if anyone here might have a better idea as to what this plant might be and what if anything to do with or to it.
Initially I assumed it was just some kind of clover but it doesn't look quite right.:

It’s a type of oxalis.🙂
If you don’t like it, you can remove it. It’s a bit of a hanger on though. You could try eating it to death. It is said to be edible.

I agree ... oxalis ... if looks like the one that has pink flowers.

So sounds like it's not totally bad then, so maybe I'll just leave it and see what it does/if it flowers.
