Rose identification

janinerjaniner Posts: 60
Hi there
I have been given a bunch of roses that are just the most beautiful flowers.

I wanted to see what they are and if I could grow them in my garden.

But how do you identify the rose? So I thought the wise people from this forum could help.... pic is attached.

Thank you

The majority of florist's roses are grown abroad in very different conditions to an English garden and struggle here if they will grow at all.

That is a very pretty rose ... such a gentle shade of pink ... perhaps @Marlorena can ID it, or maybe she knows of a very similar one which would be happy in an English garden  :)

I'm sorry, I wouldn't know that... you might like to get 'Chandos Beauty' for a garden rose with a similar look..
