i have an 8ft high metal arch. Can anyone suggest a fast growing climbing evergreen plant that is happy in very chalky soil. 
I appreciate any suggestions put forward.

    If your arch gets good sun Star Jasmine (trachleospermum jasminiodes) would do the job and it has very fragrant flowers - just don't let it dry out in the summer months

    Just make sure it's suitable for your location. It's only frost hardy, so won't survive everywhere in the UK - assuming that's where you are  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
