A Plea

Please could people asking questions about plant identification, tell us where they are. Recently we have had a spate of interesting plants to identify, but people have failed to mention that they are from: India, China or Australia.
Obviously this makes a big difference.

    It would indeed be useful pd but I think many of those types of enquiries arrive here following google searches (post count of 1), so they would likely just be joining and immediately posting their query before reading any other threads at all in the forum, including this one. :'(

    I agree it would be a very good idea now the site seems to be going global.
    I would have thought a field on the registration page for Country would be easy to implement.
