Anyone knows which plant this could be? It is infesting half of my garden...

    Butterbur... Petasites fragrans/Winter Heliotrope..
    a pretty but highly invasive weed... 

    ..well I call it a weed, I think originally it was a garden escape that has spread everywhere... some people like it..

  • Thank you, it is really that one. Now I have to find a way to get rid of at least some of it... Any tips?

    I'm sorry I've never dealt with that plant, so couldn't advise on that... I don't use chemicals so if it was in my garden I would have to dig it out gradually...
    ...the roots are invasive and far reaching, so it's quite a job I understand...

    The plant spreads through sideways growing stems shown in this video clip so if you are trying to remove it you can trace these back to find connected plants and help dig most of it out. It's difficult to get all of it out in one go so it will probably take a few attempts to get rid of it.
