    1 , Nandina?
    2
    3 hydragea petioloaris
    Devon.
  • Thank you, @Hostafan1 😊
  • I reckon 2 is a hydrangea too. :)
  • Thank you. Since it’s in a pot, I can wait a bit longer for a positive ID. I’m quite curious to discover what might pop up in various pots and borders.

    I agree with 1-2 ( hydrangea Petiolaris is no 2 )

No3 reminds me of a leycesteria formosa but I am not sure .

I think the climbing hydrangea needs to go in the ground. That's a v small pot, though the plant looks vigorous.
  • Thank you, @Perki & @Fire. I will definitely have to move some plants in the ground after I finish with the design.

I would like to keep the Nandina. Is it possible to improve its habit? At the moment, I t’s just a stick with some leaves at the top.

Or should I just start all over with a new specimen?

If you're thinking of getting rid of it, I'd cut it to about 12" and see if it bushes out?
    Nothing to lose eh?
