Anthurium help

Hi, I’m pretty new to looking after plants. Is my anthurium ok? How do I need to care for it and to get more flowers? Thanks

Hello Mark and welcome to the forum. First of all your anthurium would probably benefit from being repotted. The pot its in seems a little small. They like a very open compost and this should never be allowed to dry out completely, nor should the roots be sitting in permanently wet compost. They should be fed every three to four weeks to encourage flowering. They don't like direct sunlight as the leaves can 'burn' and if you have a spray bottle to increase humidity around the plant by spraying the leaves that will also help. I have to say that you have a very beautiful specimen there.
