I have two phormium Pink Stripe that I no longer want they are about 4ft tall and currently in pots that I want to use for something else.  If anyone wants to collect them they are yours.  I live in Kingswinford, just outside Dudley in the West Midlands

    Nice happy plants, Yvie. 🙂

If you don’t have any luck here you could try two other things:

I get rid of loads of stuff just by leaving it at the end of the drive, roots bagged up in a bin liner, with a big note on “Free to a Good Home”. Mind you,  I live on a lane which is used by a lot of walkers, horse riders etc and most things go within minutes.

Or you could advertise them on Freegle. The only disadvantage of Freegle is that you get a lot of time wasters. At least, I always do.🙄
Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

Thanks for the offer, @Yviestevie but I've already got a large specimen of my own! I posted some pics in this thread: https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1033245/phorniums/p3

You could transfer them into cheap and nasty plastic pots, and keep them until a local good cause has a bazaar.
  • Hi @Yviestevie I would love to take these off your hands. They would make a great centre piece for my front terrace.
I'm not too far away from you, but unfortunately my car is out of action at moment, could you hold them for a week or so until I can come to collect them?
    Cheers

@owd potter no problem. I'll keep them for you. Just pm me when you can collect.
