It’s one of the low growing Laurel. Prunus Lauroceracus ‘Zabeliana’.
It may not be that easy to dig up but always worth a try. All depends on your soil type. I recommend you cut it down quite a bit first so it is easier to pull and hold onto when lifting.

Personally I'd move it to the compost heap, or even better to the neighbour's compost heap.
