Unhappy tropical plant advice :(
in Plants
I've got a lovely "tropical plant" that came from Asda but after a few months it seems rather unhappy! It is browning and I am not sure whether there is something I can do to help save it?
I think I may have initially left it in too cold a spot (windowsill in the winter) and overwatered it.
I've brought it somewhere warmer and added some plant food this week. I'm also making sure that the soil is slightly damp but no water is sitting a the bottom of the pot but no improvement yet.
I wondered if anyone has any suggestions about what it might like? Should it be in the sun? Should I maybe cut off the brown bits? I am a total novice and I feel rather sorry for my poor plant.
Thank you!
Heather

Watering should be done sparely. Have a read of this info from the RHS - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=811 for how to care for it.
