I received an email this morning? Just seemed a little strange- @jamesholt did you send this message?

Hover on the senders email address, you’ll soon see if it’s gardeners world , it will say so.
if it was in you Spam/junk then it’s not genuine.

says email is notifications @gardenersworld.com. It was not in my spam. It’s strange as I haven’t been on the forum for months. Just wondered if anyone else had had similar emails from random members suggesting some sort of hack.
  • Have you checked your GW inbox (top of page, to the right)?  If you have your notifications set to send an email when you get a PM, that's what you would get if jamesholt has indeed sent you a PM.

Of course Bob, forgot about that, it looks a bit different to the ones I get.

Ha why didn’t I think of that!! It seems he has indeed sent the message. Bit of an odd message don’t you think? 😳
  • I've turned all notifications off as I get quite enough unnecessary email as it is!  I'm sure email notifications must be useful to some, but not me!

I like the email notifications, sometimes I just look at my emails and not in the site.  I do go through my emails every so often and unsubscribe from the ones I don’t want anymore.
